ABOUT THE GABC

The German American Business Council (GABC) in Washington, DC was founded in 2004 as an initiative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. We are an independent non-profit organization that fosters transatlantic business dialogue between Germany and the U.S. Our mission is to support businesses and entrepreneurship by building trust and understanding between small, medium-sized and global companies and to create business opportunities for our members. We are truly a German-American organization, which is reflected both by our board members and our general membership.
